Is-sinjal għal XEWA jew INKALJA FIL-FORN għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal LAĦAM. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej ta’ id waħda jaqbdu bejn is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej tal-id l-oħra. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal FORN. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 fuq quddiem ftit ’il bogħod minn xulxin bil-pala tħares ’il fuq u jersqu flimkien ’il barra.
The sign for ROAST or GRILL has two parts. (i) First the sign for MEAT is made. The thumb and index finger of one hand hold between the thumb and index finger of the other hand. (ii) Then, the sign for OVEN is made. The hands take the shape for 5 a little away from each other at the front with palms facing upwards. The hands move outwards together.
